    About this release

    In the first release, incident reports are stored on your device only. There is no cloud sync or hosted account for the App in this version, so we cannot view, recover, or reset your incidents on our servers—your data stays under your control on the device.

    Common issues

    • Camera — Allow FieldSight camera access in your device Settings if capture fails or the preview stays black.
    • Location — Turn on location services and grant permission when prompted if you need GPS on your reports. You can change this later in Settings.
    • Storage — If saving fails, check free space on your device; photos and local incident data use storage on the phone or tablet.
    • AI suggestions — Detection and tagging help on device; you can always edit tags and notes before saving.
